Achievements

The Diving a Dream project, has achieved a number of industry firsts through its course of enabling Matt's dream to come true, and in its pursuit of improving the quality of life on Earth. These include the following:

.: the first scuba dive while dependent on a ventilator (while in a pool, lake, and the ocean)

.: among the first scuba dives made by a full quadriplegic

.: opening the doors for enabling scuba for those with Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy

.: paving the way for others, in earning the first scuba certification through TDI/SDI's new adaptive scuba program, 'Scubility'.

.: providing a catalyst for innovation relating to new underwater life support system design and development.
